A description of your Safari…
Day 1
Day of arrival. We will greet you with a welcome drink. You are welcome to enjoy the water slide, hot tub and go for a stroll on the grounds. If travel has you beat up, perhaps you can get a massage. If you are itching for adventure, maybe sign up for the night hike!
Day 2
Whitewater rafting
We usually start off the package with the rafting trip. It has the latest departure time, so you can sleep off the travel day. If you are still a little weary, the river is sure to wake you up! The trip takes you down 13 kilometers of exciting whitewater down the Savegre River. You will stop at a beautiful waterfall along the way.
Day 3
Horseback riding (or waterfall hike)
The horseback Ride is the earliest of the departures. Don’t worry you will have time for coffee and breakfast. After traversing through our private tropical forest reserve and along the river, you will get your bearings to start exploring on your own. The aftern. You can also settle into a hammock with a good book or perhaps get a massage!

Waterfall hike (or horseback riding)
On this adventure you explore waterfalls, cross a huge suspension bridge, enjoy beautiful vistas. At one point on the hike, you get to see the lodge, the ocean and the giant mountains of the Talamanca. We have options for weary walkersor hardcore hikers. The trip includes a lunch at a rural tourism cooperative.
Day 4
Transfer to Beach via Sea Kayaks
You will make your way out of the valley by car, but just before you reach civilization, you will find sea kayaks on the bank of the river. Your luggage and rental car will continue to the camp via land, but you will travel by water… This adventure will take you down river the Savegre flows into the Pacific Ocean. Your journey will then take you through huge mangroves forests, passing amazing birds, monkeys, and all sorts of tropical critters along the way. After a short (sloth) safari cruise through a wilderness reserve, you will reach your destination at the Rafiki Beach Camp *where your beach front tent (and luggage) awaits. Dinner is out on “village” that night, seafood, pizza, or perhaps some “tipico” cuisine.
Day 5
Canopy tour
On your last day of adventure, we will take you to one of the best Canopy tours in the area. The outfitter we use have built a state of the art Canopy tour, and feature one of the longest cables in Central America (almost a mile long!). The guides are super safe, knowledgeable and entertaining. After the trip they will feed you a typical lunch. The afternoon is your to enjoy, either back to camp or perhaps you want to go site seeing in Manuel Antonio. there will be time decide when you arrive!
