HOME-COOKED MEALS, RAFIKI STYLE

"Lekker" is the Afrikaans word for awesome, cool, fun, great or sweet — and it's exactly what you'll find at the bar and restaurant at the heart of the Main Lodge. The massive horseshoe bar is built to get guests talking, pouring tropical cocktails, a full beverage selection, and natural juices and smoothies for the kids.

The kitchen blends South African BBQ (braai) traditions with local Costa Rican cuisine, drawing on 20 years of home-cooked experience. Every dinner offers a choice of red meat, white meat or a vegetarian entrée, with desserts to follow, and the kitchen is happy to accommodate plant-based diets.
