Our certified therapist, Yerlin Tapia, tailors each session to your day: deep-tissue bamboo work after rafting, coconut shell therapy following a horseback ride, or — if all you need is a foot rub or a pedicure to get you back on your feet — a foot treatment after a long hike.
You may choose a relaxing swedish massage or opt from one of Yerlin's speciality treatments. A deep tissue bamboo massage really helps ease shoulder tension after a rafting trip. Re-vitalizing coconut shell therapy does wonders afters a horseback ride up the mountain. Tropical spa treatments are also available to soothe your skin after a hike up the waterfalls. Yerlin Tapia joined the Rafiki team 6 years ago. She was one of the first students to graduate from the new high school in the village of Santo Domingo. With a micro-loan from Rafiki, she wasted no time in pursuing a technical degree in Massage Therapy. It has been wonderful to witness her master in her craft through the years.
