It's a central gathering space between activities — reception, gift store, bar and restaurant, library, and a porch with a bird feeder where the jungle comes to you.
Positioned right on the edge of the plateau, it's also one of the best spots on the property for sunset views and birdwatching, with rocking chairs, hammocks, a hot tub and a water slide for the kids.
"This is a beautiful, African-inspired resort for the bird- and wildlife lover. I was there with a tour group, and the resort guides were incredible. Their ability to spot hidden or camouflaged birds and creatures on our hikes was almost uncanny. The tent lodging was luxurious beyond my wildest expectations: multiple beds, ceiling fan, electricity, and a huge bathroom with oversized glass shower which knocked my socks off. I was impressed! The food was simple but delicious. Staff was superbly kind, friendly, and helpful. The rafting excursion and Night Walk are a must. Don't miss the Night Walk, during which you will see incredible nocturnal creatures (including the iconic red-eyed tree frog)."
